We are now accepting registrations through May 5th for Camp Sketchapod. The camp will take place May 24–26 at Kansas State University.
Attendees spend three days learning the basics of illustration using a variety of techniques — traditional pen/pencil and digital. Undergraduate students, graduate students, early career professionals and nonstudents 18 years of age or older are welcome to apply to this workshop. Everyone from beginners to experts will learn something.
Registration will be open until 24 spots are filled or until May 5th.
Registration will cost $250, $300 or $350 for undergraduate students, graduate students or early career professionals/nonstudents, respectively. The registration fee is not all inclusive. Campers are responsible for travel, lodging, and some meals. We do have cheap on-campus housing for $39 per night ($117 from Thursday-Sunday)! Check out the video of West Hall to know what to expect. For recommendations for lodging, eating and packing, check out the blog post.
At the end of the form, you will be taken to a secure payment portal for registration payment. See below for notes on payment:
- Make sure to put the same email address throughout the registration process.
- You will fill out the checkout information. This will add your registration amount to your cart.
- After that, you can add “Camp Sketchapod Reduced Housing” if you want to. Otherwise, see next note.
- Once you’re ready to checkout, hit “Checkout,” then click “Continue” and put in your payment information. It will give you one last chance to make sure the amount is correct. If it is, you will pay and officially be registered!
